The winner of a $2.4 million Tri-State Megabucks jackpot has claimed the prize through the Houdini Nominee Trust of 2019, Portsmouth, NH. The Houdini Nominee Trust of 2019 is facilitated by attorney Stacey Shaheen-Bellabona, who will serve as trustee. The jackpot winning Tri-State Megabucks ticket was sold at the Hannaford Supermarket on John Devine Drive in Manchester for the drawing on Saturday, June 22.

“New Hampshire is synonymous with winning and the New Hampshire Lottery is extremely pleased to award our state’s latest Tri-State Megabucks jackpot winner,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director, New Hampshire Lottery. “While we certainly respect the winner’s privacy, we could not be more excited to make this winner New Hampshire’s latest millionaire. On behalf of the New Hampshire Lottery, I’d like to extend heartfelt congratulations to our winner.”

The winner chose to take the cash option jackpot payment of $1.2 million, before taxes. New Hampshire’s last Tri-State Megabucks jackpot winner was July 2015, when a lucky player purchased a $1.65 million winning ticket at the Market Basket at 539 Donald Street in Bedford. New Hampshire has now had 169 Tri-State Megabucks jackpot winners since the game’s inception in New Hampshire in 1985.

“On behalf of the Houdini Nominee Trust of 2019, I am pleased to accept this Tri-State Megabucks prize,” said Stacey Shaheen-Bellabona. “I am limited in what I can say about these winners, but they are wonderful, responsible, hardworking people and are thrilled to be fortunate enough to take home this prize. They are grateful to have won the Tri-State Megabucks jackpot and are looking forward to using this toward retirement, their children's education, and sharing it with family.”

The winning numbers for the drawing on Saturday, June 22, were 19-28-32-34-37 MegaBall 2. The lucky winner matched all five numbers and the MegaBall.

The New Hampshire Lottery presented Hannaford Supermarkets with a $24,000 commission for selling the winning Tri-State Megabucks ticket yesterday, July 30, and Hannaford chose to make an impact on the nonprofit community by donating the commission to Liberty House. Founded in 2004, Liberty House helps homeless and struggling veterans by connecting them to available resources and by providing a safe, substance-free transitional house.

Tri-State Megabucks is sold in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, and drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Other Tri-State games include Tri-State Gimme 5, Tri-State Pick3®/Pick4® Daily Numbers games, and Fast Play games.
