For a dollar more, you can add some sizzle to your Hot Lotto ticket and triple the amount of any non-jackpot Hot Lotto prize! For each set of numbers played, it costs an additional $1 to sizzle your ticket! When you win with Sizzler, the $2 prize turns into $6, the $50 turns into $150, the $10,000 prize turns into $30,000 — and more! Sizzler triples you fun!

With Hot Lotto there is no Cash vs. Annuity Option. At the time of claiming the prize, the winner of a jackpot, may choose which prize option he/she would like, either Annuity payments over 25 payments over 24 years or one lump sum cash payment. The advertised jackpot is an estimated annuitized amount.

And, every time the jackpot isn't hit, the top prize climbs. Now, that's hot.

Hot Lotto states include Delaware, District of Columbia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota and West Virginia.

Unclaimed prizes for Hot Lotto expire one year from draw date.

How to Play

Here's how to get in on the heat!

1. Each play cost $1 for each draw. One play consists of a two-part panel.

2. Use pencil or black pen. Select 5 numbers from 1 to 39 on the Upper section and 1 number from 1 to 19 on the lower section by placing a vertical mark in desired boxes or mark the "EP" box on one or both sections of the play slip and let the lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers for you. You may bet up to 5 plays on a play slip.

3. Check the play slip for accuracy and present to a Lottery Retailer for processing. Important: It is the player's responsibility to check the accuracy of all tickets prior to leaving location.

4. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday evening at approximately 10:40 PM ET.

5. There are no cancellations allowed in New Hampshire Hot Lotto.

6. If you make an error, do not erase, instead mark the void box. This will void both sections of the panel.

7. Players who mark the "Sizzler" box pay an extra $1 for each and every play and/or additional draw, and those who win a prize, except the Jackpot, will receive an amount equal to three times that of the designated non-jackpot Hot Lotto prize.

You may purchase a ticket good for up to 20 draws by selecting a draw number under the "draws" column. The cost will depend on the number of plays and draws you select.

You may purchase a Hot Lotto ticket until 9:50 pm on the evening of the draw.

Every time a Hot Lotto ticket is purchased in New Hampshire, all profits remain in the state and are earmarked for education.
