More Prize Information
Pursuant to RSA 284:21-v, Child Support Intercept, the Lottery is required to review all lottery prize claims subject to federal tax reporting with a child support database provided by DHHS. In the event that the winner of the Ultimate Replay® drawing owes child support, pursuant to RSA 284:21-v the value of the due child support amount shall be reduced from the wholesale value of the prize. In this instance the winner shall have the choice of two options. In either case the winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. (1) Within 30 days from draw date the winner shall pay the total arrearage due as determined by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to the DHHS after which the winner shall be entitled to the prize. If the winner fails to pay the total amount due within 30 days from draw date, the winner agrees that option (2) shall be implemented and the Ultimate Replay® prize Package will be awarded to the first runner up. (2) The winner shall receive a cash prize equal to the wholesale value of the hard goods offered in this Ultimate Replay® prize Package. In this instance, the winner shall receive the net amount, if any, of the wholesale value less the amount of the due child support arrearage as determined by the DHHS. With this option, the 1099 form for tax purposes in the amount of the established wholesale value will be issued and the winner will be responsible for filing this with their 2008 tax return.

New Hampshire Powerball is changing in 2009!
Bigger Jackpots and more Power Play Millionaires are on the way! The multimillion-dollar jackpot game will be changing in January! Starting January 4th players will choose 5 numbers from a field of 1 through 59 and one Powerball Number from a field of 1 through 39. With this game change, players who purchase multi-draw tickets, starting October 25th until the game change, will notice that the number of drawings available for purchase will be counted down from 20 to 1. With the new game format on January 4th, the multi-draw function will return to the maximum 20 drawings.
With the change of the numbers to choose from, the overall odds of winning the jackpot prize will lengthen but the overall odds of winning will drop to 1 in 35, creating more prize winners during the year. And with the new format, those players who match 5 numbers and have Power Played their ticket, they will now win a $1 million prize!

While the New Hampshire Lottery Commission® implements strong measures to provide secure and entertaining gaming products to its players, there are important security precautions that you should take when playing Lottery games to improve your gaming experience.
What you can do:
- Be knowledgeable of the game that you are playing.
- Sign your name on the back of the ticket.
- Scan your tickets yourself by using the ticket scanner in participating stores, or ask the clerk for a print out of winning numbers to compare to your ticket(s). Customers with internet access are invited to check the winning numbers on-line at http://www.nhlottery.org/
- When presenting your on-line ticket to a clerk for validation, read the consumer display graphics screen which indicates a winning ticket and prize or a non-winning ticket. Listen for the audible message that sounds "congratulations-you’re a winner" or "sorry-not a winner". The same is true for instant scratch tickets with the exception that there is no audible for non-winning tickets. The graphics screen will indicate a non-winning ticket.
- If your ticket is a non-winner, you may ask the clerk to print a receipt and return both the receipt and the ticket to you.
- If your ticket is a winning ticket, you may ask the clerk to show you the receipt as proof of the prize amount. The clerk retains winning tickets and cash receipts for record keeping.
- Remember that single prizes of $599.00 or greater, must be claimed at New Hampshire Lottery headquarters located at 14 Integra Drive in Concord, New Hampshire.

NH Lottery Replay®
NH Lottery Replay® gives players the chance to enter your non-winning New Hampshire lottery tickets on the Web…free. This program allows players to enter "Replay® Codes" from their non-winning tickets (instant tickets, Powerball, Megabucks and more) at www.nhlotteryReplay®.com. Sign up for a free Replay® account!
Once signed up, players accumulate Replay® Points for each ticket entered. In general, points are earned in increments equal to five times the dollar value of a non-winning ticket. For example, a $1 Powerball ticket is worth 5 points. A $5 instant ticket is worth 25 points and so on. A .50 cent Pick 3 bet will earn 3 points. Replay® members can earn points in several other ways as well, including referring a friend to the program and signing up to receive lottery emails. During the year, the lottery will offer "special points" promotions too!
There are three ways to win through New Hampshire Lottery Replay®. Players can win prizes instantly when they enter their non-winning tickets. These Instant Replay® prizes, which are awarded randomly, can be accepted or traded in for additional Replay® points. Players can also win prizes by entering points into monthly drawings, or into the Ultimate Replay® drawing, which is held every three months. Thousands of prizes have been awarded, including a new car and more. To purchase a Powerball subscription, you will choose 6 lucky numbers - 5 numbers from a field of 1 through 55 and 1 Powerball Number from a different field of 1 through 42.
To purchase a Tri-State Megabucks subscription, you will choose 6 lucky numbers from a field of 1 through 42.
You may take these lucky numbers and subscribe for 26 draws ($25), 52 draws ($50) or 104 draws ($100).

Out-of-state subscriber?
The New Hampshire Lottery® would like to take this opportunity to inform you of a decision made regarding subscription holders residing outside of New Hampshire. Upon reviewing the costs associated with out-of-state subscriptions, the Commission has decided to discontinue the subscription service to out of state players. These costs have increased over the years and other factors were considered when rendering this decision.
If you have some way of using an address within the State of New Hampshire, we will be able to accept the subscription. However, if the only mailing address that is available is outside of New Hampshire, the lottery will not be able to entertain your offer.
