A ticket sold at "First in NH" store on South Broadway in Salem for the Powerball drawing on January 28, 2009 is about to expire. The winning ticket is valued at $10,000.
New Hampshire is the latest state to approve a plan to cross-sell Mega Millions lottery tickets twice a week. The state already sells Powerball twice a week.
The head of the NH Lottery for the past 15 years, Rick Wisler, says he will retire from the agency this February after nearly 35 years of service.

The NH Lottery says INTRALOT USA has won the contract to upgrade the online ticket machines in all of its 1,250 retail locations by July 2010.
