Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Lottery and DraftKings are celebrating four successful years of sports betting by marking a major milestone. Since its inception in December 2019, the New Hampshire Lottery has generated more than $100 million through sports betting for New Hampshire public education, supporting students, teachers and schools across the state. Over that time period, New Hampshire players have wagered more than $2.71 billion, with $2.2 billion wagered through the online sportsbook and nearly $500 million wagered at retail sportsbooks in the state.

“We cannot believe we are already celebrating four years of sports betting in New Hampshire. It is incredible to think about what we have accomplished with DraftKings since 2019,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “We are extremely proud of the work we have done to establish New Hampshire as the premier destination for sports betting in the northeast. We are even more proud to have raised more than $100 million for New Hampshire public education, and we’re looking forward to building on our success for years to come. We encourage our New Hampshire players to continue placing responsible bets and we are excited for many more years of winning big!”

To mark the four-year anniversary of sports betting, the New Hampshire Lottery, DraftKings and The Brook in Seabrook hosted Boston Bruins legend and Stanley Cup winner Zdeno Chara for a question and answer session with New England sports personality Mike Mutnansky. During the event, two lucky winners also received a pair of tickets to the Boston Bruins versus New York Rangers game on Thursday, March 21.

The New Hampshire Lottery and DraftKings continue to build momentum with sports betting. Thus far this fiscal year, New Hampshire players have already wagered more than $377 million, generating more than $16.4 million for public education in New Hampshire.
