Concord, NH – New Hampshire players can now test their luck to win $1.29 billion in combined Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots. The New Hampshire Lottery projects tonight’s (3/12) Mega Millions jackpot will increase to $735 million, which would make it the sixth-largest Mega Millions jackpot on record. The New Hampshire Lottery is also projecting tomorrow night’s (3/13) Powerball jackpot will jump to $559 million.
The New Hampshire Lottery estimates the Mega Millions one-time cash payout will increase to $356.7 million and the Powerball one-time cash payout will increase to $273.3 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“As the Mega Millions jackpot climbs its way up the top-10 chart, and with the Powerball jackpot hot on its heels, the excitement among our New Hampshire players and retailers continues to rise right along with these jackpots,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Powerball and Mega Millions ticket sales last week almost topped $1.6 million, and we expect sales this week to continue building momentum.”
Mega Millions drawing results from Friday, March 8, were: 19-20-22-47-58 MB-1 with a Megaplier of 3.
Powerball drawing results from Monday, March 11, were: 01-03-07-16-66 PB-5 with a Power Play of 5.

The estimated $735 million Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since December 8, 2023, when a lucky player in California purchased a $395 million jackpot winning ticket. The anticipated $559 million Powerball jackpot has been growing since January 1, when a lucky player in Michigan purchased a $842.2 million jackpot winning ticket.
The largest Powerball jackpot on record was $2.04 billion in November 2022, which was also the largest lottery jackpot in world history. The largest Mega Millions jackpot on record was $1.537 billion in October 2018.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM and Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM.
