Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Lottery is projecting the Powerball jackpot will jump to $1.4 billion for Saturday night’s (10/7) drawing, which would make it the third-largest Powerball jackpot in history and the fourth-largest lottery jackpot on record. The New Hampshire Lottery expects the one-time cash payout to reach $643.7 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)

The $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot has been growing since July 19, when a lucky California player purchased a $1 billion jackpot winning ticket. Since the drawing in July, there have been 34 consecutive Powerball drawings without a jackpot winner.
Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM.
