How to Play

Here's how to get in on the heat!

1. Each play costs $1 for each draw. One play consists of a two-part panel. Players who mark the "Sizzler" box pay an extra $1 for each and every play and/or additional draw. You may purchase a ticket good for up to 20 draws by selecting a draw number under the "draws" column. The cost will depend on the number of plays and draws you select.
2. Select five numbers from 1 to 47 on the Upper section and one Hot Ball from a field of 1 to 19 on the lower section by marking desired boxes, or mark the "EP" box on one or both sections of the play slip and let the Lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers for you. You can mark the "Sizzler" box for $1 more per play for a chance to triple your lower-tier prize. You may bet up to five plays on a play slip. If you make an error, do not erase, instead, mark the Void box. This will void both sections of the panel.
3. Check the play slip for accuracy and present to a Lottery Retailer for processing. Important: It is the player's responsibility to check the accuracy of all tickets prior to leaving location. There are no cancellations allowed in New Hampshire Hot Lotto® Sizzler.
4. Players who mark the "Sizzler" box who win a prize, except the jackpot, will receive an amount equal to three times that of the designated non-jackpot Hot Lotto prize.
5. You may purchase a Hot Lotto® Sizzler ticket until 9:50 p.m. on the evening of the draw.

The winning numbers will be drawn every Wednesday and Saturday at approximately 10:40 p.m.

Every time a Hot Lotto® Sizzler ticket is purchased in New Hampshire, all profits remain in the state and are earmarked for education.

* The jackpot starts at $1,000,000 (increases by a minimum of $50,000 per draw) after the deduction of federal taxes per the IRS regulation in effect at the time of the prize payout. "Tax Free" applies to the grand prize winner's jackpot only. If there are multiple top prize winners for a drawing, the jackpot will be divided equally among all winners.

All set prizes and Sizzler prizes, including the Match 5+0, may be reduced if claims exceed available prize fund.

3. A ticket is a bearer instrument. The New Hampshire Lottery/MUSL, retailers or contractors shall not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets. The New Hampshire Lottery/MUSL and the contractors shall not be responsible for tickets redeemed by Retailer in error.
4. Terminal produced ticket(s) are heat sensitive. Do not expose to prolonged periods of excessive heat or light.
5. The placing of Hot Lotto play(s) is done at the player's own risk through the Lottery Retailer who is acting on behalf of the player in entering the play(s).
